Meet the parents • Following the trophy presentation at Saturday's Niobrara Valley Conference consolation game, Summerland Bobcat boys' basketball team members and a majority of parents celebrate the team's 51-42 win over Stuart.
Alex Thiele earned his 100th win, Saturday, at the Wakefield Trojan Wrestling Invite. He finished third in the 120-pound division.
Thiele and his teammates finished 11th in the 20-team field, scoring 54.5 points.
Plainview domainted the field, tallying 152.5 points, en route to the team title. Wisner-Pilger finished second and Cedar Catholic and West Point-Beemer tied for third place.
Ethan Kester brought home the silver medal in the 126-pound division. He pinned Jaxon Fisher, West Point-Beemer, in :47 and won, 7-0, over Noah Brichacek, Guardian Angels Central Catholic. In the match for fir...
