Peyton Clifton, of Orchard, earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in education and human sciences from the College of Education and Human Sciences, during University of Nebraska-Lincoln commencement exercises, held Dec. 17 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

The university conferred 1,288 degrees during the event. Graduates represent 50 countries, 41 states and more than 170 Nebraska communities.

Sen. Deb Fischer delivered the undergraduate commencement address Dec. 17.
