Casting kings • (l-r): Spencer Strope, of Orchard, and Tanner Hart, of Clearwater, earned the top spot, catching 18.67 pounds of fish in the 2022 Royal Ice Fishing Tournament. The annual event is scheduled for Sunday at Grove Lake.
Royal Fire Department will host its 40th annual ice fishing tournament, Jan. 8.
Fising will begin at the north end of Grove Lake, at 9 a.m. and continue until 2 p.m.
A calcutta will begin at 7 p.m., Saturday, at the Royal Gym. Food and Refreshments will be served.
Registration will be available during the calcutta or Sunday morning.
