Two defendants waived their rights to preliminary hearings when they appeared in the Holt County court July 5 on felony allegations. The Honorable Kale Burdick bound their cases over to Holt County district court, where they are set for arraignment Aug. 8.

Varian P. Jackson, 43, of O’Neill is charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) with intent to deliver, a Class 2 felony alleged Jan. 18, in O’Neill.
