Summerland boys' track and field team finished fifth in Niobrara Valley Conference team standings, tallying 51 points. Competition was held May 3 in Atkinson.
West Holt claimed the team title, scoring 151.5 points, while Elkhorn Valley took home the runner-up trophy, with 136 points.
Bobcat participants who earned medals include:
Trevor Thomson: 100m, second, 11.21;
Gavin Whiting: shot put, seventh, 36 7.25";
Alec Schindler: triple jump, second, 38' 4.5";
