Lady Bobcats finish third at Summerland Invite

 


Niobrara/Verdigre won the team title in the girls' division of the inaugural Summerland Track and Field Invite, held April 26.

The Cougars scored 119 points en route to the championship. St. Mary's finished second, scoring 108 points.

Summerland ended third, with 89 points.

Hadley Cheatum earned gold in two events.

In the 800m, Cheatum outlasted Jayna Guggenmos, of CWC, to win gold in 2:2.15.

She finished one second ahead of Andrea Sucha, N/V, in the 100m hurdles. Cheatum crossed the tape in 16.26.

Emily Nordby: second triple jump, 30' 7.5";

Bailey Ahlers: second, high jump, 5';

Lizett Marino: 200m, fourth, 29.56; 100m, third, 13.77;

Lydia Robertson: 800m, fifth, 3:02.49; high jump, fourth, 4' 8";

Jaycee Reynolds: high jump, fifth, 4' 4";

Lenora Kester: 300m hurdles, second, 53.67;

Preslie Robertson: 300m hurdles, third, 56.70;

Aislynn Kester: 3200m, fourth, 15:02.89;

4x100: sixth, 1:06.37;

4x400: fourth, 4:57.20; and

4x800: fifth, 12:04.43.
