Summerland junior high golf team members shot 184 and finished first in an April 8 meet held at Summerland.

West Holt finished second, with 200, followed by Boyd County 1, 212; North Central, 231; Boyd County 2, 246; Elkhorn Valley 2, 268 and Elkhorn Valley 1, 400.

Daleni Knust, of West Holt, finished first in individual scores. Summerland’s Jenna Funk ended second; Max Schaffer, EV, third; Bennet Flenniken, Summerland, fourth and Jacob Pierzina, Summerland, fifth.

Rounding out the top 10 individual placings were Austin Keogh, WH; Brandt LeZotte, NC; Koy Gonzales, BC; Kaden McAllister, EV and Peyton Wickersham, BC.

Funk led the Bobcat squad with a 44. Flenniken and Pierzina both shot s 45.

Other Bobcat golfers included Aidan Bazelman, 50; Aiden Hartigan, 57 and Omari Martin, 73.
