Lincoln man sentenced to time served

Aaron White, 48, of Lincoln was sentenced to time already served when he appeared in Antelope County district court March 30.

County prosecutor Joe Abler asked for the maximum jail sentence and fine allowed for the Class 3 misdemeanor, citing a letter written by the victim in the case.

“(The letter) demonstrates how long this victim has with White. Mr. White doesn’t take orders of the court seriously.”

White’s attorney, Antelope County public defender Pat Carney of Norfolk, said White had finished 30 days of treatment for a “dual diagnosis” after his Feb. 25 release on bond and had “graduated....
