Seven Summerland powerlifters competed at the 2022 Verdigre Powerlifting Meet, Feb. 26. They won three team awards, including girls' division, third; boys division, second and co-ed division, second. Matt Umphress and Jacob Behnk were crowned outstanding male lifters of the meet, based on strength index.
