Eight candidates file for Summerland School board

Eight district residents have tossed their hats into the ring for the Summerland School board of education race.
Jeremy Wagner is the lone incumbent to file for reelection.
Current board members Candice Hoke and Marty Kerkman did not file for reelection by the Feb. 15 deadline for incumbents.
Other area residents filing, as of Tuesday morning, include Mia Bergman, Brian Ferris, Daniel Kerkman, Mark Ramold, LuAnn Schindler, Scott Thiele and Austin Twibell.
The deadline to fill for office was 4 p.m., March 1.
