Creighton resident represents Antelope County in statehouse

Sen. Timothy Gragert, of Creighton, now represents Antelope County, as the District #40 senator. Antelope County was added to Gragert's district after redistricting took place. He was first elected in 2018.

A new face will represent Antelope County residents in the Nebraska Unicameral.

Timothy Gragert, of Creighton, serves District #40, which includes Antelope County, following redistricting measures which took place following the results of the U.S. census.

Gragert's district also includes Holt, Knox, Cedar and the northern half of Pierce counties.

The Creighton Community High School and University of Nebraska-Lincoln grad was elected as the district's senator in 2018.

He served in the U.S. Air Force, Nebraska Air National Guard and Nebraska Army National Guard and retired from the Natural Resources Conservation Service.

The 107th Legislative session began Jan. 5 and will be in session for 60 days.
