Bobcats face tough competition at duals meet

Bobcat wrestlers finished fourth, Saturday, at the Battle Creek duals invite.

The Braves claimed the top team trophy, while Crofton-Bloomfield finished second and Tekamah-Herman, third.

In the first round of competition, Battle Creek topped T-H, 63-18.

The Bobcats lost to Crofton-Bloomfield, 42-24.

Three Summerland wrestlers earned wins, all by fall. Jesse Theile pinned William Steffen in 1:43. They competed in the 138-pound class.

At 145, Keaton Thiele pinned Jack Miller, in 4:56.

Logan Mueller earned a win in the 285-class, pinning Paxton Bartels in 3:13.
