North Central District Health Department will have booster doses available for persons who received Moderna and Janssen or Johnson & Johnson, Covid-19 vaccines who meet the criteria. In addition, Pfizer booster doses will continue to be available at all future NCDHD sponsored clinics. Eligible persons will be able to get a single booster dose of once their primary vaccination series is complete. The following criteria must be met:

• Must be over 18 years of age.

• Must have completed a primary two-dose series of either Moderna or Pfizer, at least six months ago, or a primary one-dose of Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) at least 2 months ago

• Fall into one of the following groups: 65 years of age and older, 18 through 64 years of age at high risk of severe COVID-19, 18 through 64 years of age with frequent institutional or occupational exposure to SARSCoV-2.

If all criteria is met above, eligible persons may choose to receive any authorized or approved vaccine booster dose currently available, Moderna, Pfizer or Janssen (Johnson & Johnson), regardless of which primary series they received.

NCDHD has the following clinic times available for walk-ins during the noted times below. Individuals who already have a scheduled appointment time for a clinic on this list, should arrive at that scheduled time.

Tuesday, Oct. 26: Long Pine City office drive through, all vaccines, 2 to 4 p.m .; Greater Sandhills Family Healthcare - Atkinson, all vaccines, 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m .; Avera Creighton Hospital, Moderna, 1 to 3 p.m .; Rock County Clinic, Moderna; 1 to 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 27: Verdigre School, all vaccines, 3 to 6 p.m .; AMH Family Practice, Moderna, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Call 402-887-5440 for appointment; Brown County Clinic, J & J, 2 to 4 p.m., call 402-387-1900 for an appointment;

Thursday, Oct. 28: Cherry County Hospital, specialty clinic, Moderna, 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Call 402-476-2525, ext. 351, for an appointment; Plainview Family Pharmacy, Moderna, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m .;

Friday, Oct. 29: NCDHD office, 422 E. Douglas, O'Neill, all vaccines, 1 to 4 p.m .; West Holt Hospital, 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., all vaccines.
