PROCEEDINGS SPECIAL Village of Clearwater BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Board of Trustees of the Village of Clearwater met in special session Monday, Aug. 30 at 7 p.m., in the fire hall meeting room. Meeting was opened at 7:01 p.m. Notice of Meeting was given in advance by publication in Summerland Advocate- Messenger and notice was given prior to meeting. Public was informed of location of Open Meeting Act poster. Present: Kevin Filsinger, Steve Stearns, Mike Klabenes, Kelly Kerkman, Steve Hankla. Others present: Lauren Sheridan-Simonsen, LuAnn Schindler, Reed Miller, Regina Krebs, Angie Hupp.

Purpose of the meeting was to discuss a special liquor license for The Waterhole, hold the one- and six-year street improvement plan hearing, and Fiscal Year 2021-2022 budget hearing.

Approved special liquor license and one block closure of First St. between Main and Colorado streets for The Waterhole to hold a cornhole tournament Saturday, Sept. 18.

Approved wastewater project pay request #2 from Rutjens Construction in the amount of $513,336.20, pending USDA approval.

One- and six-year street improvement plan hearing was opened at 7:25 p.m. Discussion was held with Reed Miller of Miller & Associates regarding street improvements. No public opinions were heard.

Approved closing the one- and six-year street improvement plan hearing at 7:33 p.m.

Approved the one- and six-year street improvement resolution with changes.

The budget hearing was opened at 8 p.m. Regina Krebs presented the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 proposed budget. No public opinions were heard.

Approved closing the budget hearing at 8:10 p.m.

Meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
