Four letter winners return to the 2021 squad, including Hadley Cheatum, Harper Klabenes, Adyson Mlnarik and Emily Nordby.

Head Coach Rachael Cheatum said the team is young.

"They all have one year or less of varsity experience, but they are working hard and I expect that we will see them grow and improve all season long," she said.

In Thursday's first match, Elkhorn Valley swept the Bobcats, winning 25-22 and 25-16.

Six Bobcat hitters nailed kills, led by Mlnarik, who finished with five. Emma Kerkman and Natalie Stallbaum finished with four apiece.

After dropping the first set of the West Holt match, 25-22, the Bobcats fought back to down the Lady Huskies, 25-13 and 25-22.

Lydia Robinson and Nordby each sent three ace serves across the net. Preslie Robertson and Klabenes each snagged nine digs.
