With heat indexes topping 100 degrees in some parts of the state this week, hundreds of thousands of Nebraskans are at risk of developing heat-related illnesses. Following these valuable tips from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention can help lessen your chances of developing heat exhaustion and heatstroke.
