Clearwater Public Library will sponsor a program featuring Katie the comfort dog, Friday, July 23, at 10:30 a.m. at the library.

Katie is a trained Lutheran Church Charities K-9 comfort dog , based out of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. She serves every day in the community in which she is placed and is deployed in times of disaster and crisis to bring comfort to all affected, including first responders and volunteers.

The public is invited to learn how Katie brings comfort to those who have suffered great losses and experienced tragedies.
