Tractor ride, barbecue planed during vilage celebration

A full slate of family-friendly activities are planned for July 17, in Royal.
Registration for the annual tractor ride will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon, at Royal Bar and Grill. A light lunch will be provided.
Tractors will depart from
Royal and complete a trek across the countryside, before returning to the village. For more information, contact Gary Ober at 402-340-0170.
Baked goods from area Amish families and root beer floats will be available for purchase throughout the day in the park.
A pulled-pork barbecue will be served from 5 to 8 p.m., in the village park. A freewill donation will be accepted.
Royal Roping Club will show off new lighting installed at the arena, behind the old schoolhouse, during a team roping event, beginning at 5 p.m. Entry begins at 4 p.m.
At 8 p.m., Dennis Lewchuk will play at Royal Bar and Grill, 3040 E. Highway 20.
