A Saturday afternoon accident, near Elgin, claimed the life of a Tilden man.

According to a press release from the Antelope County Sheriff’s Office, a 911 call, about a motorcycle accident, was received at approximatelly 5:26 p.m., Saturday.

Department personnel responded to a motorcycle accident one-half miles east of the Highway 14 and 839 Road intersection, on 839 Road.

Lucas Nygren, 34, was pronounced dead at the scene. His wife, 27-year-old Ciera Nygren, was transported to Antelope Memorial Hospital by Neigh Rescue.
