Solo run • Taelyn Switzer performs a vocal solo during a music concert in Orchard, April 20. The Orchard senior received a superior at district music competition, Friday.
Summerland - Orchard students presented group and individual pieces at district music competition, Friday, at West Holt.
According to director Emily Heithoff, both band and choir received a two, or excellent rating.
Taelyn Switzer and Gunnar Shabram earned two on their instrumental solos.
Hadley Cheatum and Kaci Wickersham recieved a one, or superior rating, on their instrumental solo performances.
Five students received a one on their vocal solors, including Wickersham, Avery Cheatum, Hadley Cheatum, Taelyn Switzer and Shabram.
