Oakdale women face arraignment on forgery charges

Donneceia McFarland, 34, of Oakdale faced the Honorable Donna Taylor in the Antelope County courtroom last Wednesday, April 7, for alleged second-degree forgery, $500-$1,500.

McFarland requested court-appointed counsel. After holding an indigency hearing, Taylor appointed Antelope County public defender Melissa Figueroa. Further arraignment on the Class 1 misdemeanor, alleged Dec. 14, 2020, is set May 19.

The complaint, filed by Antelope County Attorney Joe Abler, alleged the Class 1 misdemeanor occurred Dec. 14, 2020, and referenced a bill of sale and title transferring ownership of a vehicle.


Sada L. Carr, 34, also of Oakdale appeared on two counts of alleged second-degree forgery, $500-$1,500. She requested court-appointed counsel. Taylor appointed Martin Klein of Neligh, after finding Carr indigent. Further arraignment is set May 19.

The complaint, filed by Abler, also referenced a bill of sale and title, with Count I alleged Dec. 14-15, 2020, and Count II, Jan. 2 this year.
