One Summerland administrator and six educators submitted letters of resignation that were read during Monday's school board meeting, in Ewing.

Mike Sanne, who has served as principal at Clearwater for 15 years, has accepted a position as superintendent of schools at Boyd County Schools.

In his resignation letter, Sanne, a Clearwater native, wrote, "Having my kids attend school where I attended school was a wonderful blessing."

He credited the Clearwater community for its support.
