Fade away • Keegan Smith sends a jump shot through the basket during the Bobcat's 69-28 loss to H/LHF, last Tuesday, in Clearwater.

The Bobcat boys had a tough game at home, Jan. 19, against a challenging Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family team.

The visiting Bulldogs stifled the home team, 69-28.

The Bobcats were led by Keegan Smith, with 10 points.

Summerland was down early, ending the first quarter, 28-5. In the second quarter, the boys got the offense going a little better, but still struggled to stop the Bulldogs on offense and found themselves deeply down, 53-15, at the half.

Summerland opened the third quarter with renewed resolve, but the Bulldog lead still managed to grow and the Bobcats entered the final quarter down, 66-23.

The Summerland boys kept the ball moving and managed to outscore the Bulldogs by two in the final eight minutes of play, but still fell short.
