Arrest warrants issued

January 14, 2021

The Honorable Donna Taylor ruled on several arrest warrants, for defendants who failed to appear in court, when she presided from the bench in the Antelope County Courthouse in Neligh last week.

Edward D. Lundstrom, 63, of Stanton failed to appear Jan. 5, for the second time, for arraignment on a count of second-degree criminal trespass, a Class 3 misdemeanor alleged Nov. 18. Taylor directed County attorney Joe Abler may file a motion for order of a warrant.

Angela R. Flores, 42, of Neligh failed to appear on a misdemeanor Neligh nuisance ordinance violation, alleged Aug. 30. A bench warrant was ordered at the request of city attorney James McNally, with bond set at $1,500, personal recognizance. The case had been continued several times, the latest on Dec. 2, at McNally’s request, to allow Flores more time to continue cleaning up the property.

Motions for reissue of expired warrants that originated more than 10 years ago were filed by Abler, as well.

Abler requested a warrant be reissued on Ryan Kunze, 42, who resided at 205 East Leona Avenue in Petersburg when charges were filed for writing two bad checks to an Elgin business in November 2009. A warrant issued Nov. 9, 2010, was recalled when it expired Nov. 5, 2015, reissued Dec. 2, 2015, and recalled Dec. 4, 2020. Taylor signed the new warrant Jan. 8.

Motions were filed for warrants on Heriberto Roman-Aguirre, aka Gilberto Roma, 51, who resided at 402 2nd Street in Orchard when the original warrants were issued for criminal impersonation and false reporting Jan. 1, 2010, and for failure to appear Aug. 4, 2010. The first warrant was originally issued July 8, 2010, returned Aug. 25, 2015, reissued Dec. 1 2015, and recalled Dec. 4, 2020. The second, originally issued Aug. 25, 2010, recalled Sept. 2, 2015, reissued Dec. 1, 2015, and recalled Dec. 4, 2020. Taylor signed the new warrants Jan. 8.
