Ewing Sanders American Legion Post 214 recognized 50-year members, Dec. 10. Edward "Butch" Rotherham (left) and Larry Jorgensen (right) receive awards from commander Dennis Ziems. Rotherham attended basic training at Fort Bliss and trained as a calvary scout at Ford Ord, California. He attended AIT training at Fort Knox, Tennessee. Rotherham was stationed in Germany. Jorgensen attended basic training at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado in California and studied special warfare training in San Diego. He served three tours in Vietnam.
