Connor A, Napier, 18, of Ewing was fined $100, $49 costs and his driver’s license was impounded for 30 days by the Honorable Kale Burdick in the Holt County courtroom July 14.

Napier pleaded guilty to a zero-tolerance violation (minor driving in excess of .02 alcohol), an infraction committed May 24. The plea was entered pursuant to a plea deal. In return, Holt County attorney Brent Kelly dismissed a Class 3 misdemeanor count of operating an all-terrain vehicle on a controlled-access highway.

Napier was represented by Brad Montag of Norfolk.

Raymundo Popocatl Perez, also known as Raymundo Perez Popocatl, 30, of O’Neill appeared before Burdick on two counts, Count I, driving left of center, an infraction, and driving under the influence, first offense, a Class W misdemeanor. Both counts were reduced by Kelly as part of a plea agreement. Perez pleaded guilty, through an interpreter, to Count I, amended to reckless driving, first offense, a Class 3 misdemeanor, and Count II, amended to possession/consumption open alcohol container, an infraction. Burdick sentenced him to fines of $500 and $50, respectively, and $50 costs for the April 28 offenses.

He was represented by Forrest Peetz of O’Neill.

Alfred R. Tedford II, 42, of Huffman, Texas, pleaded guilty by waiver and was fined $100 and $49 costs for fishing without a permit. He was cited by a Nebraska Game and Parks officer June 28 at Mill Race Pond, Atkinson.

Kathryn A. Miller, 63, of O’Neill pleaded guilty by waiver to an O’Neill city ordinance violation. She was fined $30 and $49 costs for dog running at large, second offense, an infraction committed June 16.
