Lady Cats advance to NVC semifinal

The Lady Bobcats will meet CWC for the third time this season during Thursday's semi-final in Niobrara Valley Conference tournament action.The game is set to tipoff at 5 p.m., at Niobrara.

On Feb. 1, the Bobcats controlled the West Holt Huskies, picking up a 50-18 win in the opening round.

The win pitted the Lady Cats against Elkhorn Valley in a Monday evening contest in Bartlett.

Summerland walked away with a 52-40 win.

Head Coach Greg Appleby said, "I thought we played well in all three games last week and are peaking at the right time of the year. We're getting nice contributions from all starters and off the bench. Tournament time is an exciting time to be playing basketball and competing and we are looking forward to the challenge."
