Clearwater Original Board of Education members interviewed two candidates to fill a vacancy due to the resignation of Regina Krebs, who was selected as an Antelope County Commissioner. Duane Kester and Sarah Ahlers completed interviews during the Dec. 9 meeting.

Kester was elected to fill the position, which will expire in June, when the Summerland board will assume leadership of new district. Kester formerly served on the advisory board.
