Positions will be advertised.

A committee made up of Abler, Antelope County Clerk Lisa Payne and Antelope County Treasurer Deb Branstiter will interview candidates in public session and appoint successors.

Antelope County residents Jack Allemang, of Clearwater, and Bethany Miller, of Elgin, filed petitions to recall the commissioners July 8. The petitions were turned in at the clerk's office Aug. 13, and signatures were subsequently verified.
