OC couldn't capitalize on scoring opportunities throughout the game, dropping to 0-2 on the season with a 40-0 loss to Creighton. The Cyclones return to the field Sept. 20, in a 7 p.m. contest at Atkinson West Holt.

The defending class C1 state champions visited Clearwater, Sept. 6, and continued their winning ways, as the Creighton Bulldogs handed OC a 40-0 homecoming loss.

Clay Curtis struck the end zone first, scooting in from 21 yards. The PAT failed.

Brayden Zimmerer gave Creighton a 12-0 lead with a 35-yard run. Curtis converted the PAT to go up 14-0.

The Cyclone defense held Creighton to one second quarter score, when Curtis ran it in from the one-yard line. The PAT failed.

Easton Pavlik returned a Cyclones punt 50 yards for the first score of the third quarter. The PAT was unsuccessful. Sam Vor...
