Hawk named scholarship winner

Ewing Public Schools graduate Sarah Hawk has received the Dr. Robert W. Waters Memorial Scholarship.
Avera St. Anthony's Hospital announced the award Aug. 22.
Hawk recently completed a program as a mentor to young health care students at Central Nebraska Area Health Education Center at the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
She has been accepted to the University of Nebraska Medical center College of Allied Health, where she will continue her education in clinical settings.
Hawk is the daughter of Mike and Theresa Hawk of Ewing.
