Clearwater, Orchard students select royalty candidates

Clearwater Public and Orchard Public Schools will celebrate homecoming, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Dress up days will be held in each school.

Clearwater students will strike their best movie star pose on Tuesday, relive the past during decades day, Wednesday, and sport blue and black for the Bobcats on Thursday.

Orchard students will have a dress up day on Tuesday, celebrate wacky Wednesday and pair up for duo day on Thursday.

Both schools will cheer for the Cyclones and Bobcats Friday. The parade will begin at 12:40 p.m. Friday, with coronation to follow at 1 p.m., in Clearwater.


A grades 7 through 12 dodgeball tournament will begin at 2 p.m. Winners from the week will be announced following the tourney, and elementary students will participate in games.

Buses will return to Orchard at 3 p.m. Parents who wish for their children not to ride the bus should sign out their child with teachers.

The traditional homecoming dance will be Saturday, Sept. 7, from 9 p.m. to midnight. Students in grades 7 to 12 may attend.
