County judge orders extradition of Texas man

August 22, 2019

A Texas man, arrested by the Antelope County Sheriff’s Department, accused of being a fugitive from justice, appeared in Antelope County Court last week.

George Tyler Livingston, 38, was wanted on three active Wichita County, Texas, warrants dating back to 2016, according to a court document filed by Antelope County Attorney Joe Abler on Tuesday, Aug. 13.

The warrants listed allegations including a felony, theft of tools from his previous employer, driving under the influence and subsequent bond violations in Texas.

Livingston appeared before the Honorable Donna Taylor for an extradition hearing Wednesday, Aug. 14.

The defendant waived the right to counsel and his right to contest extradition.

Taylor remanded Livingston to the custody Sheriff Bob Moore, pending transportation to Wichita Falls, Texas. A show-cause hearing will be held regarding bond if Texas authorities have not picked him up within 10 days.
