Volleyball leader • Diane Mendenhall speaks at the Nebraska Athletics Leadership Society at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2016. Mendenhall held many roles at NU, including director of operations for volleyball and director of the Nebraska Alumni Association. Last year she was hired to serve as president of Nebraska's franchise in the upstart Pro Volleyball Federation. The franchise, which competes as the Omaha Supernovas, will play its first match Wednesday at the CHI Health Center in Omaha.
