Eight Bobcat football team members received end-of-year honors from the Class D1-6 district.

In addition to Summerland, Elkhorn Valley, Lutheran High Northeast, Neligh-Oakdale, North Central and Plainview comprised the district. The Bobcats finished second in district action, beating four of the five opponents.

Five players were named to the first team, including seniors Trevor Thomson, Joe Ahlers and Kendrick Schroeder, and sophomores Alec Schindler and Keaton Thiele.

Thomson led the Bobcat's rushing charge, averaging 140 yards per game and averaged 25.4 yards per game in the receiving ranks....
