Visit the light display, Saturday and Sunday, one mile east of Clearwater, on US Highway 275. Santa's workshop will be open and hot chocolate and popcorn served for a freewill donation.

A Clearwater woman wants to share the magic of Christmas with others.

Lori Knapp spent the majority of November transforming the lane to her rural home into a holiday wonderland. A line of lights illuminates the display, located approximately one mile east of Clearwater on U.S. Highway 275.

Nativity scenes, colorful Santas and frolicking deer - maybe reindeer - guide visitors along the lighted path.

Santa's workshop and the light display will be open Saturday, Dec. 4, and Sunday, Dec. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m.

"Everyone is invited to view the display after the Clearwater Old-Fashioned Christmas," organizers said.

hot cocoa and popcorn will be served for a freewill donation.

If you're a rural Summerland resident with a holiday display you'd like the Advocate-Messenger to feature, email [email protected].
