Summerland high school golfers finished fifth at Monday's Crofton Invitational.

Nine teams comprised the field, with Pierce taking home top honors, shooting 394.

West Holt and Lutheran High Northeast both finished with 453 and Ponca ended with 458, finishing fourth.

Other schools competing included Niobrara/Verdigre, Crofton varsity, Homer and Crofton junior varsity.

Rafe Grebin earned the ninth-place medal, shooting 107.

Other Summerland gofers competing included Kellen Mlnarik, 11th, 116; Daley Bearinger, 20th, 123; Avery Cheatum, 24th, 126 and Kelton Bruhn, 26th, 131.
