January 21, 2021

The Summerland boys basketball team lost on the road, 65-45, against a solid Creighton team, Jan. 12. On offense, Keegan Smith led scoring with 10 points. The Bobcats were down early in the game, due to an impressive offensive quarter from Creighton, trailing 24-10. Summerland's defense was able to slow the Bulldog offense down in the second quarter, holding them to 13 points, entering halftime down, 37-20. The second half was similar to the first, with Creighton continuously building. Coach Jacob Birch said, "We did a solid job against Creighton, obviously giving up 47 points to one guy hurts (but) we still scored the ball decently."
