A benefit for Eric Heithoff is planned Oct. 10, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the KC Hall in Elgin.

Heithoff was recently diagnosed with acute leukemia.

Lunch will be served and a silent auction will be held. Auction items will be collected through Oct. 3. Contact Marissa Lemke, at 402-260-0001, for information.

All proceeds will help the Heithoff family with medical bills and expenses.
