The Bobcat volleyball squad added three wins and a loss last week.

On Sept. 1, the Bobcats stunned Central Valley, during a triangular in Chambers, sweeping the match 26-24 and 25-20.

Brenna Wagner sent eight kills to the floor and Taelyn Switer nailed two ace serves in the win.

In the nightcap, the Lady Renegades took control of the first set, winning 25-18.

But the Bobcats would not go quietly into the night, as they pushed CWC before losing a close 26-24 set.

Kyra Nilson and Wagner each picked up three kills. Avery Cheatum added 11 digs in the loss.

On Thursday, Summerland hosted a triangular with Plainview and St. Mary’s.

Strong offensive stances and nine ace serves led Summerland to wins over the Lady Pirates, 25-12 and 25-16.

In the final match of the night, Bobcat hitters sent 21 kills to the floor, as Summerland won 25-12 and 25-11.
