Summerland announces homecoming candidates, attendants

Coronation planned for Sept. 18

Homecoming 2020 will have a different look for Summerland School.

Each site recently announced senior royalty candidates and underclassmen attendants.

Student Council Advisor Shannon Schumacher said coronation will take place at halftime of the Sept. 18 football game, which will be played in Orchard.

A traditional parade and dance will not be held.

"We will be doing a few site-based games and activities," Schumacher said.

Dress-up days begin Monday, Sept. 14. Each site has a different theme and days planned. All sites will dress in Bobcat colors on Friday.

Clearwater

Clearwater senior royalty candidates include Maryssa Long, Morgan Erhardt, Melany Mendoza, Elly Herley, Rafe Grebin, Tyler Bellar, Austin Bergman, Hunter Klabenes, Spencer Kester, Eli Thiele and Harley Snyder.


Freshman attendants are Jesse Thiele and Adyson Mlnarik; sophomores, Kellen Mlnarik and Emily Ahlers and juniors, Colton Thiele and Calissa Kester.

Clearwater's theme is board games. Dress-up days include jersey day, Monday; celebrity day, Tuesday; PJ day, Wednesday and career day, Thursday.

Ewing

Ewing senior royalty candidates include Dalton Rotherham, Trevor Stamp, Allison Schrunk, Kimberly McAllister, Brenna Wagner and Kyra Nilson.

Freshman attendants are Ellie Dougherty and Barrett Stearns; sophomores, Emma Funk and Austin Muff and juniors, Natalie Stallbaum and Luis Mendoza.

The theme in Ewing is famous cities. Dress0up days include movie day, Monday; duo day, Tuesday; worker day, Wednesday and USA day, Thursday.

Orchard

In Orchard, brands will serve as the theme. Dress-up days include class group day, which must be cleared by Mrs. Cooper, Monday; movie day, Tuesday; quarantine/essential worker day, Wednesday. red carpet day, Thursday.

Senior royalty candidates include Tessa Peed, Grace Maxwell, Taelynn Switzer, Kaci Wickersham, Kylie Hewitt, Sarah Clemens, Larissa Thomson, Avery Cheatum, Collin Mullins, Anthony Umphress and Joe Ferris.
