Last week, a group of Clearwater Chamber of Commerce volunteers traveled to David City, where they tore apart a set of aluminum bleachers and hauled the individual pieces to Clearwater, where they will be reassembled for the 2021 event.

Monday, a set of bleachers on the north side of Gene Snondgrass Arena were towed to a field north of the arena.

The aluminum bleachers will replace the wooden set, which have been in place since approximately 1978.

In the past five years, the chamber has completed several improvement projects, including the completion of two new concession stands, addition of three skyboxes, as well as a new crow's nest.

A former concession stand was converted to use as the rodeo office.
