Each year, the Upper Elkhorn Natural Resources District awards scholarships to graduating seniors who live in the district.

Students chosen intend to pursue a career in a field related to agriculture, natural resources or the environment.

Emma Hollenback, a Ewing Public Schools senior, is a recipient. She will attend Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture, entering the veterinary technician program. She is the daughter of Levi and Ashley Hollenback.
