Tilden man faces additional charges of child sexual assault

A 78-year-old Tilden man was arrested Saturday, on allegations of sexual contact with five under-aged females.

Tilden Police Chief, Robert Peterson, and Officer Randall Arrison, arrested Roger Stuckwisch, 78, at his residence in Tilden.

Stuckwisch appeared in Antelope County Court, Feb. 5, for arraignment. Wednesday, he was charged with five counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child, Class IB felonies and seven counts of third-degree sexual assault of a child, Class IIIA felonies.

A Class 1B felony is punishable by a sentence of 20 years to life imprisonment.

A Class IIIA felony carries a possible sentence of a fine of up to $10,000 and three years incarceration, or both, in addition to up to 18 months post release supervision.


Stuckwisch is being held at the Antelope County Jail, pending posting of bond, which has been set by the Honorable Donna Taylor in the amount of $5,000,000 - 10%. Bond must be posted in open court.

Taylor appointed public defender Pat Carney, of Norfolk, to represent Stuckwisch, Monday, Feb. 3.
