Summerland picks up subdistrict first round win

Summerland swept Crofton in three sets in the first round of subdistrict play, Oct. 28, in Neligh.

The Bobcats took the first set, 25-19 and added wins of 25-15 and 25-8 en route to a second round game scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 29.

The Bobcats were slated to meet North Central at 7 p.m. at Elmer Lindahl Gymnasium in Neligh.

Brenna Wagner slammed 8 kills, while Tiana Thramer ended with 8 kills and 8 blocks. Kyra Nilson finished the match with 24 set assists.
