Leroy Doerr, of Creighton, remains missing. A man matching Doerr's description was seen walking along Highway 59, eight and one-half miles east of Doerr's residence, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Oct. 12. The Knox County Sheriff's Office has been unsuccessful in identifying the man.

Anyone who may have seen a man walking along Highway 59 or possibly Highway 81, on Oct. 12, is asked to call the Knox County Sheriff's Office at 402-288-4261.

Doerr is described as a white male who is 53 years old, six-foot, five-inches tall, 165 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office put out an Endangered Missing Advisory. The advisory was issued because of Doerr's reported memory loss and medical conditions which could create problems with his safety. He has not taken his medication since his disappearance.

Doerr has been missing for two weeks. A family member talked to him around 6 p.m. Oct. 11, but he did not respond to the family member's efforts to reach him around 8 a.m. the next morning. His cell phone and all his vehicles were left at his residence east of Creighton.
