Eight community members from Ewing assisted the Sunset Store load approximately 130 boxes into an Orphan Grain Train semi, Oct. 2.

Doris Bollwitt, a store volunteer, said the store has donated items to the humanitarian organization for years.

Clothing items are sorted into children's, mens' and womens' groups and divided by season.

Orphan Grain Train supplies boxes and labels. Bollwitt said all boxes are the same size.

When items are donated to the store, pieces are either placed on the sales floor or packed, if unsellable.

"After so long, we pull items and add those to the boxes," Bollwitt said.

This is the second semi-truck load since the store moved from its location along the highway to a house on North Cedar Street.
