Four runners medal at N-O

Rounding the corner • (l) Summerland's Eli Thiele crosses a bridge in Neligh's Riverside Park and inches closer to the top runner in a Sept. 16 cross country meet. Thiele finished fifth in the boys' division, running the course in 17:11.

After last week's cross country meet was rained out, the Summerland Bobcats traveled to Neligh's Riverside Park for the N-O Invite, Monday, Sept. 16.

Four Bobcats earned medals.

Kaci Wickersham finished fourth, running 20:29, and Adrienne Parker, 15th, in the girls' division. Parker ran 24:02.

Lauren Behnk placed 24th, 27:00, and Elly Herley ended 32nd, with a time of 28:28.

Eli Thiele placed fifth, running 17:11, and David Arroyo, 18th, in the boys' division. Arroyo crossed the line in 19:14.

Spencer Kester finsiehd 30th, running 20:35; Alex Thiele, 37th, 21:00 and Tyler Hupp, 54th, 26:20.

The Bobcats will run in the O'Neill Invite, Sept. 20, at 3:30 p.m..
