Ewing students prepare for homecoming festivities

Six Ewing seniors were selected as homecoming candidates, including (front row, l-r): Summer Schroeder, Tiana Thramer, Ashley Koenig; (back row, l-r): Wyatt Wagner, Connor Napier and Xavier Hobbs. The 2019 king and queen will be crowned Friday, Aug. 30, following the parade.

Ewing Public Schools will celebrate homecoming festivities, beginning Monday, Aug. 26.

Be on the lookout for creative costumes and decorative posters in the halls of EHS.

On Monday, students will don apparel from their favorite decade, while Tuesday's garb will include hunter and camo gear.

Opposite day is scheduled for Wednesday, with Thursday relegated as Bobcat Day.

Orange and black will be the predominant theme Friday, as Renegade gear will showcase school spirit.

Like their high school counterparts, elementary students will follow a daily theme.
