Final route • NPPD's R Project route begins near Sutherland, heads north to Thedford, where it will connect at an existing substation, then move east to Holt County, covering approximately 225 miles. It will connect with a new substation near the Holt-Antelope-Wheeler county lines. Holt County supervisors are considering a road-use agreement with NPPD for construction, which will be done by Forbes Bros. Timberline Construction of Rapid City, South Dakota.
